EIS PBS & SDS Lab Support Engineer 2

Lab Support Engineering is at the heart of a worldwide lab operations team providing 24x7 lab access, service and solutions support in multiple locations. Independent and flexible, team members are always ready to adapt to the changing daily priorities. They make an impact in all kinds of ways – from installing and maintaining servers and storage equipment within the fast-paced lab computing environment, through to providing top-level technical expertise and support to engineering departmental users. What’s more, they work with engineering teams to create hardware configuration test plans in support of software development.

What you’ll achieve As a Lab Support Engineer, you will be responsible for building and supporting development and testing environments in our Purpose Built and Software Defined Storage Lab service delivery program for primary storage products.

You will:·Build and support development and testing environments consisting of storage products, servers and switches

·Manage inventory and asset database

Essential Requirements• Physical installation of hardware

• Technical configurations of systems (storage, operating systems, top of rack switches)

• Asset Management and inventory control

Desirable Requirements• Service Now / Jira

• Windows/Linux system management

• Power Switch (OS10 / Sonic) administration

• Power Store / Power Max / Power Flex administration

• Infrastructure Automation

Compensation:

Dell is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this position is $83,045-$107,470
