Responsibilities

Payroll Management & Operations
-
Manage and maintain the Payroll Master database.
-
Calculate and process regular and irregular payments (monthly salaries, bonuses, withholding taxes, and 4 major public insurance reporting/settlements).

Manage and execute the annual tax settlement (year-end tax settlement) process.

Review employee time & attendance data and process payroll-linked settlements.

Retirement Pension & Severance Management
-
Manage Defined Contribution (DC) / Defined Benefit (DB) pension plans, reserve funds, and severance pay settlements/disbursements.

Manage pension providers (financial institutions) and support the evaluation of fees and funding ratios.

Compensation Data Management & Planning Support
-
Generate reporting and manage statistical data related to salary and labor costs.

Support labor cost budget planning and actual-to-budget variance analysis.

Handle labor cost closing (monthly/quarterly/annual) and related tax adjustments (collaborate with Accounting and tax advisors on withholding tax, 4 major insurances, and payroll accounting entries).

Drive process improvements for compensation and benefits, as well as AI/Digital Transformation (AX) initiatives.
Qualifications
-
3 to 7 years of hands-on experience in payroll and retirement pension management.
-
Proven track record of independently managing end-to-end payroll, 4 major insurances, and year-end tax settlements for companies with 100+ employees.

Fundamental knowledge and understanding of relevant labor and tax laws (e.g., Labor Standards Act, Income Tax Act, Employee Retirement Benefit Security Act).

Advanced proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel (fluent in payroll formulas, functions, and data management).

High numerical accuracy, strong attention to detail, and a strict sense of confidentiality regarding personal data.

Excellent communication skills with a friendly and accurate customer-service approach to employee inquiries.
Preferred Qualifications
-
Industry & Scale: HR experience in fast-growing IT/Tech, Semiconductor, or Startup companies with 100–300 employees.

HR Systems: Hands-on experience implementing or operating major HRIS / ERP payroll modules (e.g., Douzone, Younglimwon, flex, Workday, etc.).

Accounting & Tax Knowledge: Accounting certifications (e.g., Certified Tax Accounting, FAT/TAT) or experience collaborating with accounting teams on ledger entries.

Experience in labor cost closing and tax adjustment operations (withholding tax filing, payroll-related account reconciliation, etc.).

Experience operating equity-based compensation schemes (Stock Options, RSUs, etc.), including grant, exercise, and tax treatment.

Experience in pension system reforms (e.g., DB to DC conversion, changing pension providers, etc.).

Employment Type
- Full-time (3-month probationary period with 100% compensation)
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Lunch break: 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM)
