Mission
The Product Adoption Architect drives financial performance and field effectiveness for a Databricks’ product line. They will work closely with PMs teams and GTM teams to lay out the playbook, focus and execution on GTM actions for product priorities. They set the requirements and vision for product plays that can be amplified across the entire Field. Adoption Architects also works with product management to collect signals from the field and establish product-market-fit. They triage product escalations and represent the field perspective on strategic decisions. The adoption architect works with field leaders to create a strategy to hit their product specific targets, and create a community of embedded product leads (EPLs) across the field to drive behavior and accountability at the ground level.
Outcomes

Create the strategy and definition of scalable, repeatable Product Programs.
Establish global plays (deliverables, resources, tracking, program management) that enable business units to execute plays and drive product line adoption.
Partner with BU leaders and EPLs to drive adoption of these programs and achieve meaningful $DBUs. .
Credibly partner with the PM to align roadmaps with play objectives and markets.
Prioritize customer blockers to maximize field impact of product development.

Measure 1: Product Line $DBUs at a company level and BU level.

Competencies & Responsibilities:

10+ years of experience in the data analytics space to understand and prioritize product capabilities
Proven trusted advisor to technical executives that drive strategic data decisions.
Operationally minded and ability to design at a system level
Strong execution and ability to drive to outcomes in the face of ambiguity
Strong leadership skills - ability to coordinate with various roles across GTM and R&D that contribute toward product line adoption.

The pay range(s) for this role is listed below and represents the expected salary range for non-commissionable roles or on-target earnings for commissionable roles. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, relevant certifications and training, and specific work location. Based on the factors above, Databricks anticipates utilizing the full width of the range. The total compensation package for this position may also include eligibility for annual performance bonus, equity, and the benefits listed above.
