As we expand rapidly across Central Europe, we are seeking a Strategic Account Executive to join our team in Switzerland. Reporting to the Director of Enterprise Sales, you will drive consumption growth, build executive relationships, and close new business within one of Switzerland’s largest Life Sciences organisations, based in Basel. As part of the Global Account team on this flagship customer, you will leverage your deep Life Sciences and Big Pharma experience to shape the Data & AI strategy, advance high‑value opportunities, and deliver measurable business impact by steering existing projects to successful, scalable outcomes

You will be a core member of our Global Account team, partnering with one of Switzerland’s largest Life Sciences organisations to deliver exceptional growth and long‑term value.

You will act with urgency and precision, translating strategy into measurable results and consistent overachievement.

You will build trusted C‑suite partnerships, advising business and technology leaders on Data & AI‑driven transformation.

You will expand opportunities, identifying new use cases and deepening platform adoption to accelerate growth.

You will collaborate with strategic partners and system integrators to extend reach, co‑create value, and accelerate customer impact.

You will orchestrate the Databricks ecosystem to deliver exceptional outcomes and long‑term value.

You will lead complex, insight‑led negotiations, winning transformative deals that reinforce our
What we look for
-
A proven record of exceeding ambitious revenue goals in complex enterprise sales.
-
At least 7+ years owning strategic Big Pharma or Global Life Sciences accounts in Switzerland.
-
A strong track record of spotting high‑impact Data & AI use cases and turning them into demand and qualified opportunities.
-
Demonstrated strength in scoping, prioritising, and delivering Data & AI use cases end‑to‑end with cross‑functional teams.
-
Success selling advanced data, AI, or cloud platforms in multi‑stakeholder, multi‑year engagements.
-
Candidates with a consulting background who combine a strong sales profile with deep Life Sciences expertise are encouraged to apply.

Deep understanding of consumption‑based growth models and how to grow strategic accounts from initial wins.
-
Proficiency in structured sales methodologies (Account Planning, MEDDPICC, Value Selling, Command of the Message).
-
A history of building champion networks, mobilising partners, and leading cross‑functional account teams around a clear strategy.
-
Experience using partners to broaden reach, accelerate deal cycles, and support successful delivery and customer success.

Readiness to travel regularly across Switzerland and internationally to stay closely aligned with customers.

Fluency in German and English, with the gravitas to influence senior leaders up to C‑level.
