The impact you will have:

• Form successful relationships with clients throughout your assigned territory, delivering technical and business value alongside an Account Executive and a Senior Solutions Architect.

• Gain excitement from clients about Databricks through hands-on evaluation and programming, integrating with the wider cloud ecosystem and 3rd party applications.

• Contribute to building the Databricks technical community through workshops, seminars, and meet-ups.

• Become a trusted Big Data Analytics advisor by authoring reference architectures, how-tos, and demo applications.

• Take ownership of your running projects, driving them forward with basic project management discipline and a strong sense of accountability.

• Develop both technically and in pre-sales with the goal of becoming an independently operating Solutions Architect.

What we look for:

• Ability to work with clients, create a compelling narrative, identify pain-points, and independently deliver technical propositions that drive tangible business value — building toward a trusted advisor skillset.

• A desire to deeply understand business challenges and provide value-driving technical solutions to address them.

• Proficiency in a core programming language such as Python, Java, or Scala.

• Builder mindset with a passion for quick prototyping; first experiences in vibe coding are a plus.

• Knowledgeable in a core Big Data Analytics domain with exposure to advanced proofs-of-concept and an understanding of a major public cloud platform.

• Joy in drilling deeper on tough technical questions and solution architecture while always keeping the big picture in mind.

• Experience in the delivery of retail industry projects is a strong plus.

• Spikes in production-grade SQL/DWH or ML/AI are advantageous.

• Fluency in German is a strong advantage.
