The Technician II (Quality Control – HQC) is responsible for ensuring the quality of processes and products in support of all manufacturing areas within Integrated DNA Technologies and upkeeping instrumentation.

• This position reports to the Supervisor, is part of High Throughput Quality Control located in Coralville and will be an on-site role. Schedule: Sunday
• Thursday, 3:00pm-12:00am (2nd shift)

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Analyzes data and information for quality, consistency, and accuracy

• Use and service a variety of analytical and sample handling equipment

• Maintain accurate and detailed sample, product and instrument records

The essential requirements of the job include:

• College level completed education (i.e., Associate's minimum, Bachelor's preferred) or equivalent laboratory experience (i.e., at least two years relevant experience, preferably four years).

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

• Lifting up to 50lbs: raising objects from a lower to a higher position or moving objects horizontally from position to position.

• Walking: moving about on foot to accomplish tasks.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Proficiency with computer skills with the ability to accurately use SOPs and work instructions

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
