The Service Center Coordinator is responsible for facilitating service activities that support the field and repair center engineers.

This position reports to the Director of Service and Repair Center and is part of the North American Service Organization located in Richmond, IL and will be an on-site role.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Manage the full life cycle of inventory for field service engineers in an assigned region by using SAP and Sales Force to order spare parts needed to complete repairs while ensuring the return of field inventory over a specified age.
  • Provide excellent customer service for customers with instruments coming to the repair center by arranging the forward and backward logistics for those instruments and providing proactive updates throughout the timeline of the repair.
  • Ensure spare parts ordered for your region are delivered within one business day while working with the cross functional team to identify alternative solutions for any parts ordered that are not able to meet a one day delivery.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Order entry experience
  • Small freight logistics coordination
  • Associates Degree with a minimum 1 year of customer service experience OR equivalent work experience (minimum of 3 years customer service)

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

if applicable for role

  • Ability to travel – < 5% travel, overnight, within territory or locations
  • Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 10lbs

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • SAP order entry
  • Experience working with Salesforce.com or similar CRM
  • Experience dispatching or coordinating service activities in a medical device or related industry

The annual salary range OR the hourly range for this role is $25/hr - $28/hr. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.

We offer comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
