As a **Quality Specialist (f/m/d)**you’ll be at the core of our site quality system; driving compliance, supporting audits, and leading root cause analysis and countermeasures for both customer and internal quality topics. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams, acting as a quality partner to production, R&D, and customers to continuously improve processes and performance. You’ll also guide a quality technician reporting to this role, ensuring daily quality operations run effectively while developing the team’s capabilities.

This position is part of the QARA Organization and will be an on-site role located in Schwaikheim, Germany.

**In this role, you will have the opportunity to:**​

• Own and maintain Site Quality Management System ensuring compliance with applicable standards/regulations including – but not limited to ISO 9001, Food Contact, Halal, Kosher.

• Coordinate complaint investigations at site and ensure timely resolution (CAPA/8D).

• Drive/support root cause analysis and problem resolution to address internal NCs.

• Lead the Quality deliverables at the site through regular reviews and by partnering with relevant teams.

• Apply DBS tools such as PSP, 5S, 5-Why, and DM to drive continuous improvement in the area of responsibility.

• Host external/customer audits and manage internal audit programme for site.

• Coordinate and facilitate Management Reviews for site and provide site specific inputs for regional Management Reviews.

• Foster a proactive approach to Safety and maintain clear communication with stakeholders.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Strong experience in Quality (QA, QC, QMS) within a manufacturing environment including experience guiding small teams.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Food Technology or a related technical field.

• Strong leadership, problem-solving, team building, planning skills.

• Ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders (internal, customers and suppliers).

• Experience in supporting/leading internal and external audits.

• Fluency in German and English.

• Proficiency in MS Office.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Lean manufacturing.

• SAP knowledge.
