The Environmental, Health, Safety, and Sustainability (EHS&S) EMEA Regional Manager is directly responsible for EHS&S Program of the Pall Bad Kreuznach site and as dotted line support of the EHS&S EMEA programs in Schwaikheim, Germany; Crailsheim, Germany; and Bazet, France. The role will have direct oversight of all regulatory compliance.

This position reports to the VP of EHS&S and is part of the EHS&S Team located in Bad Kreuznach Germany and will be an on-site role to cover Pall EU Manufacturing EHS including 4 manufacturing sites.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Be a part of the Pall Corporate EHS&S team responsible for the EMEA region EHS&S initiatives.

• Ensure Pall Bad Kreuznach compliance to permits and local environmental regulations.

• Maintains the Pall KPI bowler charts, and Daily Management tools.

• Ensure Pall’s compliance with all Danaher-driven sustainability audits, assessments, reviews, reports and KPIs.

• Coordinates global facilities and energy management data collection, internally verifies data, and executes analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and facilitates environmental sustainability communication and reporting.

• Ensure and support Health and safety compliance obligations and partners with Corporate HR & Communication team to develop a company-wide communication plan regarding sustainability goals, initiatives, and activities.

• Support Pall EMEA sites in achieving Compliance and Pall EHS&S objectives.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• BS/BA degree required with a focus in Environmental Management & Sustainability, Environmental Science, Environmental Studies and/or another related field of science/engineering preferred.

• Prior experience in corporate Environmental matters required with at least 5 years’ experience in corporate EHS roles preferred with an emphasis on environmental compliance.

• Understanding of global environmental and sustainability standards (GRI, GHG, CDP) protocols and third-party rating standards (Ecovadis, Ecodesk, ISN).

• Demonstrated experience leading project teams, developing followership, and exerting influence across multiple functions and levels of an organization (from the factory floor to upper management), without direct reporting relationships or authority.

• Fluent in German and English.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

• Ability to travel internationally - up to 30% of the time in EU with occasional travel to US. (1-2x year)

• Must have a valid passport or ability to legally obtain one.

• Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Sustianability or ESG initiatives. (CDP/Ecovadis)

• Project Management.

• Experience in the use of and application of AI tools and technologies.
