Bio Pharma Application Specialist Role Responsibilities

• Provide scientific support to existing & prospective customers especially in biopharma segment and help them with protocols to support their scientific goals.
• The selected candidate will be responsible for supporting customer needs, training and demonstrations of different microscopes and software including fluorescence, phase contrast and if required confocal, hyperspectral and intravital systems.
• Be experienced and comfortable in working inside dark microscopy rooms for long hours.
• Be experienced and comfortable in giving product and application presentations.
• Provide Application support to Sales Team in product demonstrations as per given slots.
• Supply information on customer feedback, demo feedback, trends and developments.
• Act as problem solver for customer/application problems as well as interface to technical service.
• Become a bridge between Leica and other LSIG Op Cos who are already working in the biopharma and special biology space.
• Represent company provide support in terms of planning, arrangement of demo systems, lectures and training in workshops.
• Participate in congresses and meetings as necessary in order to demonstrate applications on our existing and new products to customers.

Required Skills and Experience

• MSc / MTech/ PhD or higher in Cell Biology/ Biochemistry/ Special Biology or related discipline or equivalent is nice to have.
• Must have Work experience in Bio Pharma industry.
• Equal value with a strong application support experience in a relevant industry or institutes.
• Strong technical knowledge and at least one-year hands on experience with high-end systems like Confocal Microscopy, Multiphoton and Super resolution is desired.
• Proven record of successful user or application specialist in similar products.
• Strong communications – good business acumen with outstanding organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Good system demonstrator and trainer for coordinating workshops and trainings.
• Good scientific application knowledge.
• Ability to work on his/her own and also should be a great temperament for Teamwork.
• Tactical and Strategic and Customer Focused.
• With mindset of Continuous Improvement.
