The Senior Supplier Quality Engineer is responsible for managing a broad range of supplier quality elements in terms of quality and compliance with best-in-class metric reporting and process enhancements.

This position reports to the Supplier Quality Manager and is part of the Quality department located in Solna, Sweden and will be an on-site role.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Investigate and support supplier related NCs and recommend potential actions
• Manage supplier CAPA and Change Notifications
• Drive Supplier Quality Processes and Procedures improvements Quality team, as well as maintenance, to applicable standards and requirements
• Participate actively or lead Quality Plans/CAPA as needed
• Ensure department audit readiness and provide front/backroom support as needed
• Determine Supplier Quality data and records management and future strategies
• Drive adherence and metric reviews as well as enhancements in Approved Supplier List, Supplier Corrective Action, Score carding, Supplier Audit, and Supplier Change Notice requirements
• Conduct supplier audits

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, bioscience or related discipline and several years of work experience in area of expertise combined with program/project management
• Medical regulated environment experience (21CFR820 and ISO 13485:2016)
• Proven track record with supplier quality elements of data management and supplier records structure, process and procedure enhancements, AGILE, SAP, Smartsolve or equivalent eQMS, network drive structures, metrics, and review strategies
• Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to influence others without direct authority as well as experience representing the function during quality system audits (internal & external)
• Demonstrated superior communication skills, both oral and written as well as management presentation experience
• Fluency in English

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

• Ability to travel one to three times per year in Europe, overnight stay mainly.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Harmonization and/or implementation of processes and metrics on a global scale to help enable standardization and best practice
• Project Management
• Fluency in Swedish
