Responsibilities and Duties

  • Directly lead the sales team in Japan
  • Work with Asia Region MicroE leadership to develop growth strategy for MicroE Japan
  • Coordinate with other functions, including Product Engineering, Supply Chain, QA/QC, Customer Service, and any other disciplines required, to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Apply discipline in the sales team to ensure proper sales planning and execution through the use various CRM tools and sales action plans.
  • Mentor team members on value sell and strategic account management
  • Be the BU champion for the top 20 Micro

E accounts in Japan:

  • Responsible for establishing and achieving the sales projections, both short and long-term (3 year plans)
  • Meet management reporting requirements including revenue and margin projections, monthly/quarterly sales update, annual product or accounts evaluations, visit reports etc. as required.
  • Liaison with the regional / global leaders and key account managers as required
  • Develop relationships with strategic accounts / distributors
  • Cultivate good networking with Pall senior management and decision makers in the region
  • Liaison with Global Engineering and Manufacturing

Qualifications

  • Minimum a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or equivalent by experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in sales and sales management in area of semiconductors, chemicals, materials and industrial.
  • Strong Japanese-language skills.
  • Business level of English skills.
