Responsibilities and Duties
- Directly lead the sales team in Japan
- Work with Asia Region MicroE leadership to develop growth strategy for MicroE Japan
- Coordinate with other functions, including Product Engineering, Supply Chain, QA/QC, Customer Service, and any other disciplines required, to ensure customer satisfaction
- Apply discipline in the sales team to ensure proper sales planning and execution through the use various CRM tools and sales action plans.
- Mentor team members on value sell and strategic account management
- Be the BU champion for the top 20 Micro
E accounts in Japan:
- Responsible for establishing and achieving the sales projections, both short and long-term (3 year plans)
- Meet management reporting requirements including revenue and margin projections, monthly/quarterly sales update, annual product or accounts evaluations, visit reports etc. as required.
- Liaison with the regional / global leaders and key account managers as required
- Develop relationships with strategic accounts / distributors
- Cultivate good networking with Pall senior management and decision makers in the region
- Liaison with Global Engineering and Manufacturing
Qualifications
- Minimum a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or equivalent by experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in sales and sales management in area of semiconductors, chemicals, materials and industrial.
- Strong Japanese-language skills.
- Business level of English skills.
