The Senior Product Specialist is responsible for Owning the best‑in‑class clinical application support across the product lifecycle—before, during, and after installation—to ensure safe, effective, and confident customer use in clinical and operating theatre environments. They will be the technical authority for prospective and existing customers, enabling informed purchasing decisions through high‑quality demonstrations, pre‑sales consultations, and clinical credibility and Ensure rapid troubleshooting, high system uptime, and continuous improvement of application processes and training, while feeding market and clinical insights back into the organization.

This position reports to the Head of Sales, Medical and is part of the Sales/Commercial team located in Singapore and will be an on-site role.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • **Deliver Expert Pre‑Sales & Clinical Demonstrations -**Partner with Key Account Managers and Channel Partners to lead product presentations, demonstrations, and clinical discussions, translating technical features into clinical and customer value.
  • Provide Advanced On‑Site Application & Technical Support- Support customers through installations, in‑service sessions, operating theatre application, and advanced troubleshooting—working closely with Field Service Engineers for integrated solutions.
  • Execute High‑Impact Customer Training & Education - Design, maintain, and deliver structured training schedules and materials for product platforms, ensuring clinicians and users achieve proficiency and confidence.
  • Ensure Responsive Post‑Installation & Emergency Support - Serve as the primary technical contact for application‑related issues, providing timely on‑site support, flexible coverage, and emergency response as customer and business needs require.
  • Drive Market Feedback & Continuous Improvement - Capture customer insights on clinical trends, technical needs, and competitive dynamics to support sales strategies, product development, and continuous improvement initiatives within the Applications/Technical function.

The essential requirements of the job include

  • Degree in Life Science/ Biomedical/ Bio and Engineering Fields with minimum 5 years of relevant product or technical experience in medical device/equipment industry
  • Strong understanding of medical device functionality, surgical procedures, and operating theatre workflows to support real‑world clinical application. Ability to diagnose complex system and application issues methodically
  • Clear, confident communicator able to engage clinicians, engineers, distributors, and internal stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  • Skilled at translating technical knowledge into commercial value, supporting sales conversations without losing clinical credibility. Capable of managing multiple priorities, schedules, and on‑site commitments independently in a fast‑paced, customer‑driven environment.
  • Proven ability to work cross‑functionally with Sales, Service, Marketing, and Channel Partners while leading through influence**.**Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, dependable, and adaptable—comfortable working independently, under pressure, and with flexible hours to meet customer needs.

  • Ability to travel – 40-50%
