The HR Associate Care Specialist, ASEAN & APAC is responsible for the wing-to-wing HR Operations transactions including onboarding, offboarding, payroll and benefits administration, queries for ASEAN. This role will also be required to analyze and report key HR metrics at the APAC level and maintaining associates' electronic personnel files.

This position reports to the Senior HR Business Partner, ASEAN and is part of the Human Resources function and will be located on-site either in the Petaling Jaya, Malaysia office.

What you will do:

• Payroll and Benefits Management: Oversee all payroll-related activities, including new employee setup, data maintenance, payroll queries, and benefits program enrolment. Ensure accurate payroll processing by collaborating with payroll partners. Backup all APAC Specialists for payroll administration.
• Onboarding and Cross-Border Activities: Manage onboarding and cross-border activities for new hires and transferees, including immigration, pre-employment medical check-ups, and Day 1 orientation. Serve as the first point of contact for employee HR-related queries.
• HR Vendor and Reporting Management: Act as the main contact for HR vendors, handling contracts, invoices, and payments. Provide various employee information and reports, such as HR metrics, compliance reporting, and training tracking, while maintaining confidentiality.
• Workday Expertise and Event Support: Serve as a local expert on Workday, providing coaching to associates and managers, and supporting events like benefits enrolment and employee engagement activities. Assist the HRBP with HR activities, including projects and employee relations.
• Content and Case Management: Coordinate and manage the review and update of HR content, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with company policies and legal requirements. Collaborate across HR to gather necessary information and feedback, and support sustainment with future content review dates. Ensures that cases are responded within the expected timeline.

Who you are

• Possess at least 3 years of HR experience and a minimum of 2 years in payroll and benefit management for ASEAN including recent experience with Workday. Experience in payroll for ANZ will be advantageous.
• Demonstrate advanced analytical and problem-solving skills. This includes the ability to identify trends, analyze data, and apply improvement methodologies to enhance processes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with all levels of associates and cross functional teams. Must be comfortable working at multiple time zones.
• Experience in Case Management Applications will be advantageous.
