The Sr. Production Associate I is responsible to develop and revise standard operating procedure and work instructions in collaboration with cross functional teams as required.
This position reports to the Team Leader, Production and is part of the Production Operation Team located in Benoi Sector, Singapore and will be an on-site role.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Carry out production activities which adhere to EHS and Quality guidelines, regulations, policies, procedures and 5S methodology; Operate machines/equipment at the required specifications and ensure all materials are readily available
- Develop and revise SOP and work instructions in collaboration with cross functional teams as required; Support improvement efforts and assigned projects
- Work in a team environment and liaise with cross functional teams as required on day-to-day operations which includes preliminary troubleshooting of machines or equipment, On-Job-Training of new hires and other appropriate duties as assigned
The essential requirements of the job include:
- NITEC graduate with at least 2 years of relevant manufacturing experience or Diploma graduate with at least 1 year of relevant manufacturing experience is preferred; Secondary educated graduate with at least 5 years of relevant manufacturing experience will also be considered
- To meet daily production output, escalate line issues and quality.
- Flexible working in rotating shift. Occasional lifting and carrying of objects weighing up to 20kg in white room area
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Familiarity on Microsoft software and SAP/other ERP experience (specifically in manufacturing environment or cleanroom environment)
- Basic knowledge in Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) operations
