As part of its growing activities, Dailymotion is looking to enforce its Video Team. You will play a key role in improving the core foundations of our product and building innovative features in close cooperation with Architects, Product Managers and Scrum Masters. • Design and build Backend systems using REST services. • Design and improve video processing systems (scheduling, state machine, processing tasks). • Design and improve video upload system. • Analysis capability on a Big Data system. • Proactivity on evolutions and improvements ## Qualifications Required • Massive experience in a software backend architecture and development, including backend services and automated testing • Proficient in object-oriented design • Proficient with one of the following containerization solutions: Docker, Podman • Proficient with building REST APIs • Experience with SQL databases • Experience with data analysis with BigQuery or equivalent • Experience with developing and deploying applications in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS)  • Excellent problem-solving skills • Level of written/verbal English (documentation, team presentations, meetings) Nice to have • Experience and capabilities in one or more languages of our technical stack: PHP, Go, Python, Java • Experience with continuous integration, orchestration, continuous deployment testing and automation tools: Docker, K8s • Knowledge in microservices architecture • Experience working with Agile methodologies At Dailymotion, we empower candidates to take action.
