THE OPPORTUNITY
Cyera is looking for an EMEA Field CTO to serve as the senior technical advocate and executive sponsor for our most strategic customers and highest-impact opportunities across the region.
This is a high-leverage, externally facing leadership role for someone who combines deep technical credibility, strong commercial instincts, and the ability to influence across Sales, Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Executive Leadership. You will operate at the intersection of customer strategy, technical execution, and company direction—helping Cyera win and expand its most important opportunities while shaping how the market understands our platform.
As EMEA Field CTO, you will engage directly with major enterprise customers and prospects, acting as a trusted technical executive in the moments that matter most: complex evaluations, strategic proof-of-value motions, transformational platform decisions, and large ARR opportunities where standard sales motions are not enough. You will identify the real technical and business blockers, elevate the quality of our technical engagement, and ensure the voice of the customer is translated into meaningful action across Engineering and Product.
You will also play a central role in advancing Cyera’s position as an AI security company, helping shape our forward-looking technical narrative, sharpening our AI security selling motion, and ensuring our customer-facing messaging, content, and enablement stand up to deep technical scrutiny.
This role is based in EMEA and requires strong partnership with teams in Tel Aviv and across the global go-to-market organization.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Strategic Customer and Deal Leadership
- Act as the senior technical executive sponsor for Cyera’s most strategic EMEA accounts and largest ARR opportunities.
- Engage directly with executive and technical stakeholders at major enterprises to understand their long-term priorities, not just their immediate evaluation criteria.
- Help drive larger, more strategic platform wins by ensuring we position Cyera for durable customer value rather than narrow point solutions or short-term technical wins.
- Step into critical sales cycles, proof-of-value engagements, and major initiatives where deep technical leadership and executive influence are required to move the opportunity forward.
- Help teams think beyond “how do we win this deal” to “how do we win the next 10 deals like it.”
Technical Advocacy and Product Influence
- Serve as the bridge between strategic customer needs and Engineering, translating field insights into actionable product direction.
- Advocate internally for the capabilities, integrations, workflows, and innovations required to win the market’s most demanding customers.
- Bring structured, high-signal input from flagship accounts into Product and Engineering discussions, especially where requirements are nuanced, forward-looking, or not yet captured in standard field processes.
- Partner closely with teams in Tel Aviv to drive tight execution on the company’s most important technical initiatives.
Elevating Technical Execution
- Raise the bar on technical quality across major opportunities, customer engagements, and POVs.
- Challenge teams to ask better questions, think creatively, and explore non-obvious paths to value.
- Help determine whether we are positioning the full platform effectively, aligning to customer architecture and business priorities, and building repeatable technical plays.
- Improve the rigor and consistency of technical strategy in complex enterprise motions.
Technical Marketing and Enablement
- Uplevel Cyera’s technical marketing output across blogs, solution narratives, technical content, and field-facing materials.
- Ensure technical messaging is credible, differentiated, and stands up to scrutiny from sophisticated buyers, practitioners, and industry experts.
- Partner with Product Marketing and Marketing to co-create and refine company messaging, positioning, and technical narrative.
- Strengthen technical enablement for Solutions Engineers and Account Executives, helping teams communicate with more precision, confidence, and strategic depth.
- Evaluate whether enablement programs, content, and copy are hitting the mark and meaningfully improving field performance.
AI Security Leadership
- Drive AI Security to the forefront of Cyera’s technical selling motion.
- Help define and amplify how Cyera leads in AI security across customer conversations, strategic pursuits, and market-facing narratives.
- Shape how AI security capabilities are framed, demonstrated, and operationalized in strategic customer engagements.
- Partner across the business to ensure our AI security message is grounded in real technical substance and customer relevance.
Thought Leadership and Market Presence
- Represent Cyera as a senior technical leader with customers, partners, analysts, and at industry events as needed.
- Establish credibility with highly technical and executive audiences through clear, strategic, and evidence-based communication.
- Serve as an internal and external thought partner on where the market is going and how Cyera should lead.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Significant experience in senior field-facing technical roles such as Field CTO, Chief Architect, Distinguished Sales Engineer, Strategic Solutions Architect, or equivalent.
- Proven success supporting large enterprise accounts and complex, high-value sales motions with executive visibility.
- Ability to combine deep technical understanding with strong commercial judgment and customer-facing presence.
- Strong pattern recognition across enterprise buying behavior, technical objections, architectural decisions, and competitive dynamics.
- Experience influencing Product and Engineering based on customer requirements and field realities.
- Strong executive communication skills, with the ability to engage credibly with CISOs, CTOs, architects, and senior business stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to shape strategy across functions without relying solely on formal authority.
- Excellent technical storytelling, presentation, and content review skills.
- Experience improving technical enablement and helping field teams operate at a higher level.
- Strong familiarity with modern data security, cloud security, AI security, and enterprise platform buying motions.
PREFERRED BACKGROUND:
- Experience working with large global enterprises in industries such as technology, financial services, media, or other highly regulated and security-conscious sectors.
- Background in data security, DSPM, DLP, AI security, cloud security, or adjacent cybersecurity domains.
- Experience in high-growth startup environments where speed, ambiguity, and cross-functional influence are critical.
- Comfort operating across EMEA while partnering closely with Product and Engineering leadership in Israel.
COMPENSATION INFORMATION:
The range represents total compensation, and may include incentive for sales roles, equity or benefits, as applicable.
This compensation range represents Cyera’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of posting, and Cyera may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. The final salary for this position will be determined in Cyera’s sole discretion, consistent with applicable law, and based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to the employee’s work experience, skills, and qualifications for the role, as well as the needs of Cyera’s business and other operational considerations.
Final compensation will vary based on seniority and relevance of experience, location, and position requirements.
This role may be eligible for potential merit increases based on factors such as individual or company performance, time in role, and other discretionary factors.
