Job Description Summary

Job Description

Essential Functions:

  • Maintain the domestic water system on the complex including the following: Domestic Hot Water Boiler Plant; Potable Water Filtration System; Office & Locker Room fixtures; Concourse plumbing (concessions, restrooms, water fountains, drainage); All associated piping and valves.
  • Maintain the sanitary and storm drains on the property including the following: Grease traps – Concessions, Kitchen, Site Drainage; Cleaning and snaking of storm drains and sediment baskets; Testing and repair of anti-siphon (Backflow) devices.
  • Isolate and drain down of all exterior water systems for freeze protection.
  • Responsible for the completion of all PM and record keeping assigned to his area or responsibility, review and update information as necessary.
  • Responsible for proper use of all tools and materials associated with his trade.
  • Monitor CMMS for work order queue, update work status to completion. Submit work orders for all work performed.
  • Make recommendations to his supervisor as necessary on the performance of equipment.
  • Maintain and requisition through the Procurement Coordinator an adequate supply of common plumbing stock.
  • Ensure that safe working conditions are being maintained in all areas under his control.
  • Assist all trades as directed.
  • Respond to all emergencies as requested.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by Account Director, Department Manager and other account management personnel.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent educational certification preferred.
  • Ability and willingness to work off-hours if necessary, evenings, and nights as well as overtime, weekends and holidays (as required for stadium projects and events).
  • Experience with CMMS and ability to utilize a digital work order management process.
  • Familiarity with OSHA, NEC, NFC and Life Safety codes.
  • Strong technical and problem solving abilities including those related to mechanical controls.
  • Possess knowledge of safe and efficient operation of all equipment, power and hand tools.
  • Prior experience in painting/general maintenance/carpentry is a plus
  • Ability to work independently as well as a productive member of a team.
  • Be able to coordinate projects or tasks efficiently and optimize the performance of others.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, tenants and vendors

Physical Requirements:

  • Regularly required to stand, walk, reach and use arms to perform tasks as well as push and pull objects and grasp with hands.
  • Regularly use various machinery and tools including, but not limited to, a snow blower.
  • Frequently required to sit, stoop, crouch, kneel, crawl, balance, climb stairs and ladders, work at heights and in environments with temperature ranges both while working outside and inside.
  • Occasionally required to work around vibration or noise as well as dust.
  • Regularly required to lift and/or move up to 20 lbs. and occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
  • Work on ladder, hydraulic lifts and/or staging.

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate’s experience and qualifications.

The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.

The compensation for the position is: $15.30 - $18.00
