Role Purpose:

To assist in managing and delivering high-quality soft services (housekeeping, pest control, landscaping, waste management, etc.) within the facility, ensuring compliance with standards, client requirements, and health & safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities: Operations Management

  • Supervise daily soft services operations including housekeeping, pantry, pest control, and landscaping.
  • Ensure adherence to SOPs and service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Monitor cleanliness and hygiene standards across the facility.

Team Supervision

  • Manage and guide housekeeping staff, pantry boys, and other soft service personnel.
  • Conduct regular training and performance reviews.

Vendor Coordination

  • Liaise with third-party vendors for pest control, laundry, and other outsourced services.
  • Verify vendor compliance with contractual obligations and quality standards.

Budget & Inventory Control

  • Assist in preparing budgets for soft services.
  • Monitor consumption of cleaning materials and pantry supplies; maintain stock levels.

Compliance & Safety

  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to maintain hygiene standards.

Reporting & Documentation

  • Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly reports on soft services performance.
  • Track attendance and productivity of staff.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of housekeeping and hygiene standards.
  • Vendor management and negotiation skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle emergencies and resolve issues promptly.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and facility management software.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Graduate in any discipline (preferably Hotel Management or Facility Management).
  • 8–10 years of experience in soft services within facility management
