Associate Project Manager:

Job Description Summary

Responsible for the coordination of projects, including small tenant improvements, assignments, capital improvements and building or site repairs for properties; may provide project management support to Project Managers or Directors for designated projects.

Job Description

Responsible to support project management team in the planning, design, and execution of commercial and industrial construction projects within a manufacturing environment. The role will focus on project administration, coordination, and reporting while developing the skills required to independently manage projects in the future. This position will report daily to the Client’s site located in Boise, ID.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Project Administration & Documentation:

  • Assist in maintaining, via Client’s Document Control processes, project documentation including drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and change logs
  • Assist with meeting agendas, meeting minutes, and project status reports
  • Track action items, decisions, and outstanding issues

Schedule & Milestone Tracking:

  • Assist in reviewing contractor schedules and milestone tracking
  • Monitor long-lead items, permits, equipment deliveries, and inspections
  • Identify potential schedule impacts and escalate to the C&W Senior Project Manager

Cost & Change Management Support:

  • Maintain change order and cost tracking logs
  • Assist with pay application reviews and cost verification
  • Support budget tracking and contingency reporting

Consultant & Contractor Coordination:

  • Assist in coordinating communication between C&W Senior Project Manager, Architect/Engineer, contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders
  • Track responses and follow up on RFIs, submittals, and design clarifications

Site & Field Support:

  • Attend Owner, Architect, Contractor (OAC) and site meetings, and observational site walks

  • Document construction progress and potential issues

  • Track punch list, commissioning, and closeout activities

  • Support coordination of Client’s equipment vendors and installers (IT/Security, Audio Visual, FF&E, Food Services)

  • Track utility requirements, shutdown windows, and commissioning activities

  • Coordinate with Operations, Maintenance, and EHS teams during construction and startup

  • IMPORTANT EDUCATION

  • A high school diploma is required.

  • A Bachelors degree with a major in architecture, engineering, building construction or other related technical area is preferred

  • IMPORTANT EXPERIENCE

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of prior work experience in architecture, construction or project management field is preferred

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate’s experience and qualifications.

The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.

The compensation for the position is: $ 97,750.00 - $115,000.00
