Job Description Summary
We are seeking a high-performing and commercially driven professional to join the Tenant Representation & Leasing business at an Assistant Vice President (AVP) level. This role is responsible for driving business development, managing key client relationships, originating and executing leasing mandates, and contributing significantly to revenue growth. The incumbent will work closely with senior leadership while independently handling strategic accounts, mentoring junior team members, and representing the firm across market-facing initiatives. The role demands strong market knowledge, negotiation skills, and the ability to deliver client-centric real estate solutions in a dynamic, competitive environment.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively identify, pursue, and convert new business opportunities within the tenant representation and leasing domain.
- Originate mandates through client networking, referrals, industry engagement, and targeted prospecting.
- Drive fee negotiations, commercial structuring, and closure of leasing transactions to meet and exceed revenue targets.
- Act as a trusted advisor to occupier clients by understanding their business needs, growth plans, and real estate strategies.
- Lead end-to-end client engagements including pitch presentations, site tours, negotiations, and transaction execution.
- Build, develop, and sustain long-term client relationships to ensure repeat business and cross-service opportunities.
- Lead lease advisory and execution across renewals, relocations, consolidations, expansions, and pre-commitments.
- Conduct detailed market analysis, financial modelling, and comparative assessments to support client decision-making.
- Provide insights on market trends, rental benchmarks, supply-demand dynamics, and occupier strategies.
- Mentor and guide junior team members, providing on-the-job coaching and performance support.
- Collaborate with internal service linesto deliver integrated solutions.
- Support regional leadership in strategic initiatives, business planning, and market penetration efforts.
- Represent the organization at industry forums, networking events, and client engagements.
- Contribute to thought leadership, market intelligence, and institutional knowledge building.
About You
- Proven experience in commercial real estate sales, tenant representation, or corporate leasing with a strong transaction track record.
- Demonstrated success in business development, client acquisition, and revenue generation.
- Strong understanding of local and regional office/leasing markets and occupier requirements.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to structure and close complex deals.
- Strategic mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- High level of ownership, accountability, and entrepreneurial drive.
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced, target-driven environment while managing multiple stakeholders.
- Strong communication skills with the confidence to engage CXO-level clients.
