Job Description Summary

We are seeking a Planning & Project Coordinator with experience in project coordination and planning to oversee scheduling, procurement, and resource management for various project phases. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing project plans, monitoring progress, and managing communication with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure the successful execution of projects.

Job Description About the Role:

  • Project Coordinator in overall MEP planning and execution
  • Review drawings (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, ELV)
  • Coordinate with design consultants, architects, and vendors
  • Prepare MEP execution strategy as per project timeline
  • Monitor day-to-day MEP site activities
  • Ensure installation as per approved drawings and specifications
  • Supervise contractors (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, firefighting)
  • Ensure proper sequencing with civil & interior works
  • Assist in quantity take-offs (BOQ verification)
  • Track material consumption vs BOQ
  • Verify contractor bills and RA bills
  • Support in cost control and variation tracking
  • Prepare and track :Shop drawing, Material submittal, Method statements
  • Ensure approvals from client/consultant before execution
  • Maintain proper documentation (important for audits & handover)
  • Assist in preparing project schedules (MS Project/Primavera)
  • Track progress vs baseline
  • Identify delays and escalating issues
  • Ensure milestone achievement
  • Ensure all MEP works meet quality standards
  • Conduct inspections and checklist verification
  • Ensure compliance with client specifications and standards

About You:

  • Strong coordination skills (MEP + Interior integration)
  • Knowledge of codes (NBC, NFPA, local authority norms like BMC/NMMC)
  • Software: AutoCAD, MS Project / Primavera, Excel (for tracking & reporting)
