About the Role:

We're seeking a highly skilled senior software developer to join our IOT Security team at Crowd Strike. As a technical leader in our team, you'll play a critical role in leading and building key collaterals of the IOT solutions offered by Crowd Strike, working with a team of highly skilled and dedicated engineers. You'll work on cutting-edge technologies, including Golang, microservices architecture, nmap and diverse database ecosystems, to deliver comprehensive visibility into risks, management features and prioritization workflows.
IOT Security Product Group is focussed on developing products and solutions for ICS/OT and other IOT verticals like Healthcare. The charter for the team is to use Crowd Strike’s platform capabilities and threat intelligence, and build modules and features, integrate with partner products and platforms to establish ourselves as the leading security vendor in this space.

What You’ll Do:

• As a technical leader, you'll drive IOT cybersecurity features end to end, architect scalable solutions, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to define priorities and scope.

• Your expertise will directly influence the cybersecurity landscape, protecting organizations from sophisticated threats while advancing the state of the art in exposure management. You will be helping with customer and operations issues.

• Ability to communicate and articulate crisply at all levels from executive staff to engineers

• Ability and desire to being hands on as well as leading the team and collaborating cross functionally

• Ability to mentor other developers

What You’ll Need:

• BS/MS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience

• 9+ years of experience in software engineering as an engineer or architect

• Experience in Golang and/or similar technologies

• Strong experience with shipping high-quality software in a cloud environment (AWS, Azure, GCP)

• Strong experience working with Big Data technologies

• Experience with big data technologies like Kafka, Cassandra, Elasticsearch, Redis, K8S

• Strong experience in building and maintaining large distributed systems at scale.

• Solid design and problem-solving skills with a demonstrated passion for engineering excellence, quality, security, and performance

• Strong experience in computer networking

• Strong cross-group collaboration and interpersonal communication skills working with a variety of roles including engineering, product management, support, and sales engineering

• Experience working with remote teams and individuals while ensuring agility and velocity

Bonus Points:

• Solid experience in building GenAI workloads and agents

• Experience with Nmap Scripting Engine (NSE) using Lua

• Proven experience in IOT/ ICS and OT security, automation and systems / software like HMI, SCADA servers, EWs and other Purdue Model L2/L3 systems, network architecture, protocols

Familiarity with IOT security compliance standards and processes, such as NERC-CIP, NIST CSF, IEC 62443 or AWIA etc. is good to have

• Proven experience in increasing the feature delivery velocity using GenAI, and utilising AI in the product features for enhanced customer experience.
