We’re offering an hourly rate within a brand of $28.00 - $31.00 per hour (depending on experience), 40hrs +per week.

Crafting your Journey

We are looking for an experienced cellar hand to work at Kim Crawford Winery, Marlborough. Reporting to the Production Leader, this role is a great opportunity for an experienced Cellar Hand to develop their winemaking a management skills and further their career.

• Leading small teams for up to 6 staff during harvest.

• Following all safety procedures, ensuring proper PPE, incident reporting, etc

• Harvest operations, including supervising, crushing and pressing

• Oversee training with Diemme and Della Toffola presses and Piquette Production.

• Assist with the cellar operations around blending, fining, clarification, preparation and despatch

Your Grape Qualities

• At least 3 years’ experience in a medium to large winery and working harvest.
• Experienced Cellar hand in all general cellar duties including ability to Supervise a Receival/Press team at Harvest. This will require experience with Diemme and Della Toffola presses and Piquette Production.
• Experience leading a small team or working as a supervisor training staff.
• A reasonable level of fitness, as harvest requires 12-hour shifts, 6 days per week
• A current driver’s licence, forklift certified preferred
• Practical approach to solving problems and a can-do attitude
