Senior Producer, Vanity Fair Video
Vanity Fair is seeking an experienced senior producer to join our dynamic, fast-paced creative team. In this role the senior producer will be a leader on our video team and work closely with the creative, production, and post production teams on all video productions across social, YouTube, and emerging platforms. The senior producer should have a strong history of creating and executing high concept digital videos, have an extensive knowledge of production best practices and always deliver with remarkable results. This role reports into the director of video content.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Produce shoots (sometimes serving as sole producer) and lead all LA-based productions on-site, acting as liaison between talent, production, and crew.

Direct videos and interview talent.

Build and maintain a roster of trusted freelance below-the-line crew.

Execute confidently in both field and studio environments, often working from written treatments with minimal oversight.

Assign and oversee production team members on social video projects.

Develop and review daily shoot schedules, call sheets, logistics, and production tracking documents to ensure seamless execution.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree
-
A minimum of 5 years experience producing and developing/directing digital videos.

A demonstrated track record in creative execution and high efficiencies, especially in physical and field producing, within tight deadlines and budgets.

An interest in pop culture, Hollywood, and news/politics.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills; highly organized across all aspects of production.

Extensive experience working with high-profile talent and talent teams, with the ability to create a confident, relaxed on-set environment.

Demonstrated aptitude to work closely with internal and external producers.

Strong understanding of YouTube specific storytelling and audience behavior.

Deep knowledge of end-to-end production and post-production workflows, from development through delivery.
The expected base salary range for this position is from $95,000K-$110,000K Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including but not limited to relevant skills, training, experience, and education.
In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates may also be eligible to receive discretionary bonus compensation.
This is a guild position.
