Reporting to the Plant Finance Manager, you will be a key contributor on the plant management team, providing analysis and insights to guide operational and financial decision making. You will oversee plant accounting and reporting processes to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with US GAAP and company policies while leading and developing the local plant finance team. You will work collaboratively with plant leadership to strengthen cost control, drive financial performance, and support planning activities in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

A Taste of Your Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the local plant finance team.
  • Provide financial guidance and timely operational performance reporting to support informed decision making.
  • Use analytical techniques and metrics to identify opportunities to improve operational performance and reduce unit costs.
  • Provide finance leadership for Lean Manufacturing and TPM initiatives at the plant.
  • Instill strong cost control and planning discipline to support manufacturing cost management.
  • Lead the annual business planning process, including preparation of the financial manufacturing plan and product standard costs.
  • Support capital planning through evaluation of financial payback for capital expenditures.
  • Partner with divisional and corporate finance teams on initiatives, cost improvement opportunities, and shared projects.
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of plant accounting systems and records, including adherence to company policies, controls, and SOX compliance.
  • Develop ERP proficiency for plant finance and functional users, with preference for SAP experience.
  • Leverage systems to enhance data access, analytics, and reporting.
  • Focus on materials cost and usage, labor cost and utilization, asset utilization, and overhead expenditure control.

Ingredients Required for Your Success

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum five years of professional finance or accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with financial modeling.
  • Knowledge and application of GAAP and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, and data manipulation functions.
  • Experience improving systems, tools, and processes, including SAP (R/3, FICO, BI).
  • Skill in identifying improvement or cost‑reduction opportunities and making recommendations.
  • Skill in consolidating complex information into usable formats.
  • Experience partnering with internal customers and building effective relationships.
  • Experience providing analytical insights to support business needs within a dynamic environment.

Compensation:

Pay Range:$81,000-$118,000

The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
