Shift: various start times-various end times

Hourly Rate: $16.75 an hour + $New Rate effective 4/1/26: $17.34/hour, $0.25 2nd Shift Premium shift differential

• You will work onsite at Conagra's Imlay City, Michigan, facility
• Home of Vlasic Brand pickle and pepper products. You will report to Production and Team Leaders. Opportunities available on first and second shift. You will work a regular shift schedule with overtime based on business demand. This is a seasonal opportunity; you will receive on the job training to succeed in this role. The season begins in April ending in December with recall rights and opportunities to advance.

What will you do:

The Filling Machine Operator is responsible for the proper operation of the machine. The operator will oversee and ensure that the jars are filled properly. The Filling operator will perform machine and line shut down.

You will monitor the operation of the filling machine. You will verify correct fill based on routine performance of weight checks.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Follow standard work procedures.

• Operate the Filling Machine equipment.

• Maintain a steady stock flow to the line.

• Verify stock quality.

• React to glass breakage following plant procedures and safety rules.

• Administer lockout tagout (LOTO) procedures.

• Ensure machine and surrounding area is kept neat and sanitary.

• Adapt to changing situations.

• Work with Quality department, Production and Team Leaders.

• Train employees.

• Complete documentation observing Safe Quality Foods (SQF) standards.

• Read and interpret a variety of instructions/documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

• Ensure actions remain consistent with plant safety goals and procedures.
