Shift: 4:00 PM-2:00 AM

Hourly Rate: $16.75 an hour + $0.25 shift differential

Conagra Brand Foods, home of Vlasic, located in Imlay City, Michigan, has opportunity for seasonal Print/Apply operators to run the Case Label Application equipment. You will work in a seasonal capacity. You will work full-time hours during the regular season beginning April through December. You will have the opportunity to advance as well as recall rights to return each season. During the heavier production demand period, normally May-October, you may be required for daily/weekend overtime as scheduled (Saturdays). You will report to Supervision and will work onsite.

What will you do:

You will operate and maintain the Print & Apply units to support production needs. You will operate multiple pieces of equipment. You will set up equipment, load labels and ink ribbons. You will recognize and correct inaccuracies. You will monitor quality of the finished product to meet customer standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Follow standard work procedures.
• Load labels and ribbons on multiple Print & Apply units.
• Enter product code into Print & Apply unit.
• Run multiple Print & Apply units.
• Clean and maintain the Print & Apply unit.
• Must work with Quality assurance, Production and Team Leaders.
• Work safely and with accuracy.
• Ensure machines and surrounding areas are kept neat and sanitary.
• Adapt to changing situations.
• Train employees.
• Complete documentation to comply with Safe Quality Food (SQF) standards.
• Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Observe plant clean-up procedures and remain consistent with plant safety goals and procedures.
