Reporting to the Continuous Improvement Manager, you will oversee the training program (Continuous Skills Development) for the Fayetteville Plant. This will include developing training procedures and standards, coordinating the training of plant personnel and validating that the training is successful, and tracking the status trained personnel. You will supervise a group of training coordinators to implement training tools through the plant and champion the Conagra Performance System.

A Taste of Your Responsibilities

  • You will supervise a group of training coordinators and be responsible for their development and productivity
  • You will develop and implement training systems and tools throughout the plant and be responsible for sustaining them.
  • You will be responsible for ensuring training procedures and onboarding curriculums are developed for all job roles at the Fayetteville Plant
  • You will be responsible for ensuring plant documents are controlled and reviewed on a regular basis
  • You will lead or support improvement projects that reduce manufacturing costs, improve product quality, or increase operational efficiency.
  • You will coach plant employees on the implementation of project deliverables and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • You will facilitate project team meetings to ensure accountability, alignment, and adherence to project timelines.
  • You will provide training and qualification for plant resources supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
  • You will track implementation progress and maintain records of qualified resources.
  • You will comply with all company safety policies and procedures and all Occupational Safety and Health Administration rules and regulations.
  • You will adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices, including proper waste disposal, attire, grooming, and hygiene standards.

Ingredients Required for Your Success

  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Three or more years of experience in continuous improvement is preferred
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Training experience is preferred
  • Strong skills in Microsoft applications (Power BI, Share Point, Excel, etc.)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.

Physical Requirements

More information about essential tasks and the facility will be shared during the hiring process. This role may require you to be in our manufacturing facilities. When visiting these sites, the physical requirements below may apply:
You may be required to walk around the facility, climb stairs/ladders, kneel, or perform repetitive tasks that require hand-eye coordination.
You may be required to lift or carry materials that can vary in weight and size.
This is a manufacturing environment with large, moving equipment. Noise levels can be high, and temperatures may vary.

Compensation

Pay Range:$63,000-$93,000

The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
