
Sanitation Supervisor - 3rd Shift
About the role
Reporting to the Sanitation Manager at our Louisville, KY facility, you will lead the 3rd shift sanitation and production team members, oversee sanitation activities and drive process improvements to ensure compliance with food safety standards. A Taste of Your Responsibilities
- Plan, deliver, train, and monitor sanitation team processes and methods across the plant
- Plan and implement daily, weekly, and periodic cleaning and sanitation activities
- Develop and maintain the Master Cleaning Schedule, Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures, Plant Improvement Plan, and Environmental Swabbing Program in alignment with USDA regulations
- Partner with plant leadership to drive continuous improvement of sanitation processes
- Conduct plant inspections and audits, tracking corrective actions and ensuring timely resolution
- Report food safety concerns to leadership and take immediate action when needed
- Coach team members and enforce plant rules, regulations, and procedures
- Evaluate team performance, communicate expectations, and support employee development
- Support compliance with regulatory and internal food safety standards
Ingredients Required for Your Success
- Bachelor’s degree; or HS Diploma/GED plus 2+ years related experience in a food manufacturing operations environment.
- Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices and food safety guidelines
- Bilingual Spanish/English preferred
- Knowledge of Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points plans
- Familiarity with FDA and USDA regulations
- Understanding of Clean In Place and Clean Out of Place systems
- Wet and Dry clean experience, as well as the 7 steps of Sanitation
- Working knowledge of Total Productive Maintenance principles
- Knowledge of plant equipment, sanitation processes, and safety practices
- Understanding of microbiology related to sanitation practices preferred
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and operational losses
- Ability to work an alternative and rotating schedule
Physical Requirements

When visiting these sites, the physical requirements below may apply: You may be required to walk around the facility, climb stairs/ladders, kneel, or perform repetitive tasks that require hand-eye coordination. You may be required to lift or carry materials that can vary in weight and size. This is a manufacturing environment with large, moving equipment. Noise levels can be high, and temperatures may vary.

Compensation
Pay Range:$64,000-$95,000
The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
