Hourly Rate: $20.74 an hour + $0.25 shift differential

The Palletizer Operator will work on the afternoon shift, reporting to the Team Leader. In this role you will work directly with your crew leader and will be flexible to remain on the job until the last case reaches the Palletizer which is the final step production process. Routinely expect the need to work ten (10) hours daily.
DUTIES:
The Palletizer Operator is responsible for the proper operation of all Palletizers. The qualified employee will be required to setup the machines for the proper production run. The employee will also be responsible for starting, clearing misfeeds, and restarting the machine. This position may also include heavy labor.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Must have the ability to learn the proper operation of the Alvey palletizing equipment and maintain the equipment adhering to standard work.
- Must have the ability to learn and execute proper lockout tagout procedures.
- Must coordinate change overs with the casing department.
- Ensure machine and surrounding area is kept neat and sanitary.
- Adapt to changing situations and be able to establish priorities.
- Ability to communicate effectively and work closely with Crew leaders, QA, and Supervisors.
- Ability to train, direct and lead employees as needed.
- Accurately complete and maintain all paperwork in a neat and orderly fashion.
- Must be dependable, self-motivated, and maintain an acceptable attendance record.
- Ability to read and interpret a variety of instructions/documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ensure actions remain consistent with plant safety goals and procedures.
- Understand Vlasic policies and procedures.
- Other duties may be assigned.
