Job Summary
This job manages plant build, rebuild, and upgrade projects, collaborating with leadership on budget development and management. It supports Design, Construction, and Project Management, oversees finances, leads a team, sets standards, and ensures timely budget-compliant project completion.

Required Skills
1. Safety Standards
Maintains a strong safety culture across construction activities through oversight, coaching, and accountability.
2. Collaborating
Proven ability to work cross‑functionally with Design, Construction, Engineering, Project Management, Marketing, and Commercial teams to align priorities, resolve issues, and deliver network build and upgrade objectives.
3. Budgeting
Experience managing construction budgets, including forecasting, tracking, and cost control. Ensures projects are delivered within approved financial targets through oversight of contractor costs and invoice verification.
4. Leadership
Demonstrated people leadership capability of supervisors, specialists, and contractor partners. Provides coaching, sets clear expectations, drives accountability, and manages performance to achieve business results.
5. Communication
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly convey expectations, project status, and risks to field teams, cross‑functional partners, and leadership to support informed decision‑making.
6. Construction – Telecommunications
Working knowledge of telecommunications construction practices, including coax and fiber network builds, rebuilds, and upgrades. Understands construction workflows, quality standards, and contractor operations supporting network reliability.
7. Project Management
Demonstrated ability to plan, schedule, and oversee multiple construction projects simultaneously. Effectively manages timelines, resources, and risks while tracking progress and ensuring timely, quality project delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Scheduling construction projects and overseeing adherence to safety standards and quality control measures.
- Initiating and monitoring budget processes to ensure fiscal targets are met.
- Ensuring compliance with construction codes and safety regulations across projects
- Maintaining an elevated level of productivity, tracking, and generating reports on project status
- Ensuring projects meet or exceed Company Construction Policy, FCC Technical Standards, NEC, OSHA, and other agency requirements.
- Maintaining an invoice verification program for contractor-managed projects
- Collaborating with Marketing and Commercial Development to meet subscriber build-out and upgrade goals
- Leading Supervisors and Specialists while providing career development feedback and support.
- Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
- Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Bachelor's Degree
