Organization & Team Overview

Comcast’s Technology, Product & Experience (TPX) organization works at the intersection of media and technology. Our innovative teams are continually developing and delivering products that transform the customer experience. From creating apps like TVGo to new features such as the Talking Guide on the X1 platform, we work every day to make a positive impact through innovation in the pursuit of building amazing products that are enjoyable, easy to use and accessible across all platforms. The team also develops and supports our evolving network architecture, including next-generation consumer systems and technologies, infrastructure and engineering, network integration and management tools, and technical standards.

Role Description

Looking for a software engineer, responsible for managing the complete life cycle of moderately complex projects, including approval, planning, execution, and closeout to ensure planned results are achieved on time. Develop timelines and plans. Ensure progress to plan, tracks critical project achievements and communicates progress to all project stakeholders. Works with cross-functional project team to establish and achieve goals.

Student will work on a family of "P2" software tools that together navigate and enable construction of The Internet:

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Creating great software products with Clojure, Clojure Script, Redis, Kafka, PostgreSQL

  • Evolving infrastructure: Hashi Corp stack (Nomad, Consul, Vault, Terraform), AWS, ELK, Telegraf, Grafana

  • Critical Thinking

  • Translating business requirements into technical solutions

  • Software development

  • Reliability

  • Documentation and knowledge sharing

  • Cross‑functional cooperation

Minimum Qualifications and Eligibility Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree from Drexel University, with a cooperative learning track.

  • Available to work 40 hours per week for 6 months starting September 22, 2026, through March 26, 2027.

  • Authorized to work in the United States with no current or future sponsorship needs

  • Available to report in-person to the work location on the job posting

Compensation

Base Pay: $32.00

Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Comcast provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for a Commission under the terms of an applicable plan, while most non-sales positions are eligible for a Bonus.
