The Customer Solutions organization defines, builds, launches, and manages Comcast Business products and solutions to deliver differentiated customer value and profitable growth. The organization owns solution strategy and lifecycle execution, drives cross-functional alignment, and ensures performance, reliability, and operational excellence across the business. Within the umbrella of Customer Solutions, you will be working within the Product Strategy & Operations team.
Role Description
At Comcast Business, turning bold ideas into impactful products requires more than innovation—it demands seamless execution, smart systems, and strong collaboration. From ideation through deployment, our product lifecycle depends on efficient processes, powerful platforms, and tight alignment across cross-functional teams.
As a co-op on the Product Strategy & Operations team, you’ll play a meaningful role in supporting key product initiatives that drive our business forward. You’ll work at the intersection of technology and strategy, helping to optimize the systems and processes that power our product organization. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about leveraging data and information systems to solve real business challenges, improve decision-making, and enable teams to operate at their best.
You’ll gain hands-on experience working with diverse stakeholders, contributing to high-impact projects, and helping shape more data-driven, scalable approaches across our product portfolio. If you’re excited about using technology to influence business outcomes and want to make a tangible impact from day one, this is the opportunity for you.
What are some interesting problems the student will work on?
In this role, the co-op will have the opportunity to dive into the complex Smartsheet ecosystem that powers many of our product operations and delivery workflows—supporting everything from program and product management to launch readiness and successful product rollouts. The student won’t just learn the system but also help improve it.
The co-op will work on real business challenges such as streamlining fragmented processes across teams, improving visibility into product lifecycle milestones, and designing scalable solutions that bring consistency to how teams plan, track, and execute their work. With each team operating differently, the co-op will help identify gaps, reduce inefficiencies, and build intuitive Smartsheet (and other tooling) solutions that align stakeholders and drive clarity.
Along the way, the co-op will tackle questions like: How can we make complex workflows easier to manage? How do we ensure teams have the right data at the right time to make decisions? How can we create systems that scale as our product portfolio and teams grow?
Where can this student make an impact?
In this role, the co-op will make a tangible and lasting impact by designing and publishing Smartsheet dashboards, reports, and workflows that are actively used by teams across the organization. These solutions will become part of the day-to-day operating rhythm, helping teams track progress, make decisions, and stay aligned.
Beyond building solutions, the co-op will also document and refine processes to ensure they are sustainable and continue delivering value long after your co-op experience. With exposure to a broad network of teams and leaders, the co-op will contribute to systems and practices that support an organization of 500+ people—creating tools and insights that teams rely on every day.
