Organization & Team Overview
Comcast’s Impact and Inclusion (I&I) Team is dedicated to harnessing the power of our platforms and our people to create positive change. Through inclusive leadership and by supporting our teams and local communities, we strive to help build a better world where everyone has access to the resources and opportunities necessary to thrive.
The main goal of the Impact & Inclusion Employee Engagement team which this co-op will be joining is to inspire volunteerism, service and giving within the Comcast employee population. This is done through the Team UP program which encompasses year-round volunteerism, our matching gift program, and nonprofit board service program.
Role Description
Looking for a way to help others and make a positive impact on the world around you every day on the job? Look no further than this co-op! The Employee Engagement co-op is involved in all aspects of the Team UP program, particularly around the implementation and execution of our volunteerism program. Through this work the co-op will be involved in facilitating meaningful volunteer opportunities for Comcast employees, defining and engaging employee audiences, identifying year-round opportunities for engagement, and assisting with data & technology needs. The co-op will be collaborating closely with colleagues in running our programs and will be supporting employees in departments all across the company so that we can impact the communities where we live and work. The co-op will not only be able to make a positive impact on the employee population, but the broader Philadelphia community.

Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Collaborate closely with the employee engagement team to create seamless employee engagement experiences

Function as a key member of the team to plan and execute all volunteerism and giving programs and initiatives

Demonstrate the ability to work on large-scale programs and projects with concurrent deadlines
-
Take ownership of and improve creative communications
-
Edit and proof internal and external employee engagement communications
-
Assist in the design of high-impact communications created to drive engagement with and participation in Community Impact employee engagement programs
-
Function as a key corporate contact for the various employee engagement coordinators across the country
-
Maintain and leverage relationships with internal and external business partners to improve employee engagement programs
-
Assist with virtual and in-person event coordination
-
Document issues and problem-solving recommendations as part of best practices for the team

Assist with data collection and analysis
-
Engage in nonprofit research
-
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications and Eligibility Requirements

Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree from Drexel University, with a cooperative learning track.

Available to work 40 hours per week for 6 months starting September 22, 2026, through March 26, 2027.

Authorized to work in the United States with no current or future sponsorship needs

Available to report in-person to the work location on the job posting

Compensation
Base Pay: $23.00
Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Comcast provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for a Commission under the terms of an applicable plan, while most non-sales positions are eligible for a Bonus.
