Our trade Specialists are world class and working on projects that truly contribute to the Defense of our nation. We look for specialists with a talent for big picture thinking and attention to detail with the knowledge and knowhow to apply technical theories and concepts and deliver real-world solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular travel both locally and interstate at well-established fully operational sites. (On average two to three week travel blocks for max 5 times per year)
- Carry out operational, planned, and corrective maintenance on a variety of Threat Systems and equipment in accordance with the Maintenance Management Plan
- Contribute to engineering, maintenance, and procedural solutions in a multi discipline environment, working closely with engineering and logistic support elements
- Communicate with stakeholders to ensure training scenario outcomes and customer objectives are achieved
- Tooling and test equipment supplied
Skills, Qualifications and Experience:
- Cert III/IV in electrical/electronic/communications, radar or mechanical trade (Essential)
- Experience within a Defense/Defense Industry operations or technical maintenance environment (Desirable)
- Knowledge in RF principles (Highly Desirable)
- Experience in operating advanced Communications/Radar/Electronic Warfare systems (Desirable)
- HC License (or ability to obtain)
