2nd Shift Hours ~2: 30 PM - 11:30 PM

What You Will Do:

The Senior Material Analyst - 2nd Shift will operate in multiple shop floor control and Material Requirement Planning (MRP) related systems to ensure alignment between material position and production schedule while managing a team of hourly employees. The Senior Material Analyst will work closely with operations, supply chain, engineering, and quality to ensure assembly and test requirements are fully supported.

  • Coordinate material kitting in support of assembly floor need, working closely with the on-campus Forward Stocking Location (FSL) and remote warehouses.

  • Utilize Lean principles to establish world-class Materials Flow/Synchronization within the value stream.

  • Support shortage management process

  • Oversee materials/logistics issues.

  • Coordinate with Engine and Module Assembly to ensure parts are available when needed.

  • Participate in making allocation/priority decisions on critical hardware.

  • Utilize/operate Andon system in support of assembly floor requirements.

  • Support efforts to drive cost & lead time reductions.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Bachelor's degree and minimum 5 years' experience in a materials, supply chain/logistics, shop floor or similar environment or a Master's degree and minimum 3 years’ experience in a materials, supply chain/logistics, shop floor or similar environment

  • Knowledge of logistics, operations, inventory management, and/or supply chain

  • Experience with Enterprise Planning Resource (ERP) and/or Material Requirements Planning (MRP) software. SAP highly preferred

  • Experience with Microsoft office: Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Working knowledge in SAP

  • Continuous Improvement problem solving background.

  • Degree in Business/Supply Chain/Engineering Related Subject preferred.

  • Ability to work independently and prioritize duties with minimal supervision, to meet deadlines

  • Project management and operations experience

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
