What You Will Do

Collins Aerospace, an RTX business, is seeking an experienced Environment, Health, & Safety (EH&S) Manager for our Tanauan site in Batangas. This role offers the opportunity to work autonomously with minimal supervision, reporting directly to the EH&S Head-Senior Manager. The successful candidate will oversee a specific business unit and lead the site’s EH&S Management Systems and Training.

As a key partner in EH&S, this role involves developing and implementing EH&S plans and procedures, managing EH&S programs, and ensuring compliance with regulations and RTX requirements. The EH&S Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams, provide guidance on facility and employee practices, and foster a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple EH&S programs and specialties at the site.

  • Collaborate with Operations and Site Leadership to integrate EH&S performance into business activities.

  • Contribute to the development and execution of the site’s EH&S Annual Plan, aligning with broader EH&S strategies.

  • Develop, maintain, and communicate EH&S policies to ensure compliance with legal, RTX, and Collins regulations.

  • Support initiatives to enhance the EH&S culture for employees and contractors.

  • Oversee regulatory reporting requirements, ensuring compliance with all applicable environmental, health, and safety standards.

  • Analyze EH&S performance indicators and recommend improvements.

  • Lead incident investigations, determine root causes, and develop corrective actions for safety and environmental incidents.

  • Utilize the EH&S SMART reporting system to maintain accurate EH&S records.

  • Conduct and oversee audits and inspections, presenting findings to the EH&S Management Committee.

  • Partner with business units to address EH&S concerns related to facilities and employee practices.

  • Support the implementation and maintenance of the RTX EH&S Management System.

  • Facilitate and guide the activities of various EH&S subcommittees.

  • Promote a positive EH&S culture across the site.

  • Represent EH&S in site and business meetings to discuss performance and improvement plans.

  • Develop and deliver EH&S training programs as required by policy or regulation.

  • Flexibly support additional EH&S assignments or rotations as needed.

Qualifications You Must Have

Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety & Health or Engineering, with at least 8 years of relevant experience

Qualifications We Prefer

  • At least 3 years of leadership experience, with strong people management skills.

  • Professional safety certifications are highly desirable.

  • Knowledge and experience in Industrial Hygiene, Hygiene Engineering (e.g., dust and pressurized systems), and Ergonomics are a plus.

  • Comprehensive understanding of Philippines DOLE/OSH requirements.

  • Prior experience in a multi-national manufacturing environment.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional demeanor.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant tools.

  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills.
