What You Will Do
-
Collaborate with business and digital team members and cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and provide guidance on utilizing the ERP system effectively with a strong understanding of Plant Maintenance, Product Compliance and Dangerous Goods Management.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions that leverage S/4HANA, enhancing our Plan to Sustain processes in alignment with desired RTX operating model and industry best practices.

Document common solutions, including configuration documents, process flows and data policies.

Configure and manage SAP systems to support Plant Maintenance, Product Compliance and Dangerous Goods Management processes effectively.

Lead testing and defect remediation of SAP systems in support of Plant Maintenance, Product Compliance and Dangerous Goods Management processes.

Assist data team and process teams in data mapping activities and testing.

Deliver Project Artifacts including Configuration Design Documents, Functional Specifications, Technical Specifications, and Test Plans for any forms, reports, enhancements, conversion programs, integrations and workflows deemed in scope for Plant Maintenance, Product Compliance, and Dangerous Goods Management processes.

Ensure that RTX is positioned for future success within all functional areas of Plan to Sustain.
Qualifications You Must Have
-
Typically requires a University Degree and minimum of 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience. Minimum of 8 + years of experience configuring and supporting SAP ERP.

Working and technical knowledge of Plant Maintenance, Product Compliance and Production modules including Equipment, Functional Locations, Notifications, Task Lists, Maintenance Plans, Product Masters, Regulatory and Component Lists

Hands-on SAP Configuration experience in Plant Maintenance, Product Compliance and Dangerous Goods Management modules.

Hands-on experience supporting data cleansing and migration activities.

Ability to travel up to 25% or as needed

Experience working on large, complex A&D enterprise projects -- or similarly regulated, large organization.

Experience with agile frameworks/iterative approaches to software development and implementation projects.

- This position is currently designated as remote. However, the successful candidate will be required to work from one of the 50 U.S. states (excluding U.S. Territories). Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
