RTX Corporation is an Aerospace and Defense company that provides advanced systems and services for commercial, military and government customers worldwide. It comprises three industry-leading businesses – Collins Aerospace Systems, Pratt & Whitney, and Raytheon. Its 185,000 employees enable the company to operate at the edge of known science as they imagine and deliver solutions that push the boundaries in quantum physics, electric propulsion, directed energy, hypersonics, avionics and cybersecurity. The company, formed in 2020 through the combination of Raytheon Company and the United Technologies Corporation aerospace businesses, is headquartered in Arlington, VA.

The following position is to join our RTX Enterprise Services team:

Role Overview:

  • Own and manage enterprise licensing for secure print/scan and related platform components, including license forecasting, procurement coordination, renewals, true-ups, and compliance.
  • Maintain license inventory and entitlement records; track utilization and adoption to optimize spending and prevent service disruption.
  • Partner with Procurement, Finance, Vendor Management, and Cybersecurity to ensure licensing aligns to contractual terms, security requirements, and deployment plans.
  • Support vendor relationships for licensing (support contracts, maintenance, renewal negotiations, and audit responses).

This position is Hybrid in either our Tewksbury MA, Richardson TX, or Tucson AZ facilities. It requires a DoD Secret Clearance in order to be considered

What You Will Do:

  • Serve as the technical lead/system administrator for an enterprise secure print release (pull print/follow-me print) solution in classified enclaves.
  • Design and implement secure scanning workflows (e.g., scan-to-approved network destinations) with MFA-based user authentication and strong auditing.
  • Integrate the secure print/scan solution with enterprise identity services (e.g., Active Directory, group-based access control), certificate services/PKI where applicable, and MFA mechanisms approved for the environment.
  • Engineer, configure, and maintain print infrastructure, which may include:
  • Print management platform(s), print servers, queues, driver packaging/standardization, and high availability where required.
  • Multifunction device (MFD) onboarding: configuration baselines, firmware coordination, and feature lockdown aligned to policy.
  • Implement and maintain security controls for print/scan, including least privilege, segmentation, secure protocols, encryption where applicable, secure job storage and release, and audit logging.
  • Build repeatable deployment patterns (install standards, automation/scripts, packaging, configuration as code where feasible) and produce documentation (implementation plans, SOPs, admin guides, user quick starts).
  • Perform hands-on system administration duties supporting the service:
  • Windows Server administration, GPO management, patching, monitoring, backups/restore testing, certificate lifecycle considerations, and incident triage.
  • Coordinate testing, pilot, and phased rollout with stakeholders; develop cutover plans and post-deployment validation.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues across client endpoints, servers, network paths, MFDs, authentication flows, and print/scan applications—driving problems to root cause and corrective action.
  • Ensure solutions remain compliant over time by supporting audits, vulnerability remediation, and continuous improvement in alignment with site security requirements.
  • Evaluate existing systems and plan long-term strategies.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree and 3+ years, or equivalent experience in lieu of degree
  • Active and transferable U.S. government security clearance (Secret) required prior to start date; U.S. citizenship required.
  • Experience deploying and administering an enterprise secure print release capability (e.g., pull-print/follow-me printing) and secure scanning workflows.
  • Experience implementing MFA-enabled authentication for print/scan use cases (e.g., smartcard/cert-based auth, badge/PIV/CAC integrations, or environment-approved MFA methods).
  • Windows Server system administration skills (AD, DNS/DHCP familiarity, GPOs, file/print services, service accounts, logging/monitoring fundamentals).
  • Experience supporting IT services in regulated or classified environments, including implementing hardening/compliance requirements (e.g., STIG-aligned configurations and audit expectations).
  • Troubleshooting skills across endpoint-to-service flows (client, server, authentication, network, and device).
  • Experience managing enterprise software licenses (renewals, compliance, usage tracking, and budgeting/forecasting) for IT infrastructure or enterprise platforms.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with one or more enterprise print management platforms (examples: HP Advance) and MFD ecosystems (HP).
  • Familiarity with PKI/certificate-based authentication, RADIUS/802.1X concepts, and log forwarding/SIEM integrations as applicable.
  • Scripting/automation skills (e.g., PowerShell) and comfort developing repeatable deployment methods and reporting.
  • Knowledge of automation platforms (e.g., Ansible) and the ability to learn new skills in a changing environment.
  • Experience with license compliance/audit readiness and vendor contract support for enterprise platforms (maintenance/support agreements, true-ups, and renewals).
  • Familiarity with IT asset/license management tools and processes, including reporting and reconciliation.
  • Relevant certifications: CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Windows Server/Azure (as applicable), ITIL, vendor print solution certifications
