Job Summary
Senior Manager, Channel & Customer Insights, GCM, as part of the GCM Commercial team, plays a critical role in delivering actionable insights that support Customer and Channel Development strategies. You will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and synthesizing channel and customer data from both internal and external sources, enabling data-driven decision-making across the commercial organization. This position works closely with key stakeholders to translate insights into recommendations, directly influencing commercial strategy and execution.
What You’ll Do for Us

Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to customer trends, consumption behavior, and channel dynamics from internal systems and third-party sources.

Generate regular reports and deep-dive analytics on channel and customer performance, identifying key patterns, growth opportunities, and challenges.

Partner primarily with Customer Development and Channel Development teams to translate insights into actionable strategies, frameworks, and initiatives.

Support the development, refinement, and deployment of system playbooks by providing fact-based insights and relevant benchmarking.

Track industry best practices and competitor activities, ensuring our strategies remain market-leading and responsive to change.

Present findings and recommendations to cross-functional stakeholders, supporting commercial decision-making with clear and robust evidence.

Maintain high data integrity and continuously improve data collection and analytical methods.

Perform other job-related duties as assigned, in response to evolving business needs and market dynamics.
Requirements & Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree or above in Business, Marketing, Statistics, Data Analytics, or related field.

5+ years’ experience in commercial analytics, business intelligence, market research, or relevant roles within FMCG, retail, or consulting.

Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data visualization, dashboard tools, and Microsoft Excel/PowerPoint; experience with BI/SQL/advanced analytics is a plus.

Demonstrated ability to translate data into actionable insights and recommendations.

Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder collaboration skills.

Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a dynamic, cross-functional environment.

Fluent in English and Mandarin, with the ability to operate effectively in a business environment.
