About the role

Job Description Summary: Role and Major Responsibilities of Position:

  • Procure engineering spares, consumables, tools, and materials in line with maintenance and operational requirements

  • Create and manage purchase requisitions, RFQs, purchase orders, and contracts in SAP

  • Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to ensure cost competitiveness, quality, and lead-time compliance

  • Utilize e-sourcing platforms (e.g., Keelvar) to run competitive bidding events and optimize total cost of ownership

  • Ensure timely availability of critical engineering materials to support maintenance and plant reliability

  • Coordinate with engineering, maintenance, inventory, and finance teams to align demand planning and procurement priorities

  • Monitor supplier performance (delivery, quality, service levels) and drive continuous improvement

  • Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, QSE standards, and ethical sourcing requirements

  • Support cost-reduction, localization, and supplier-rationalization initiatives

Minimum Requirements for Position: (Education, skills, experience, etc.)

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Procurement, Engineering, or a related field
  • 3+ years of procurement or buying experience in manufacturing, FMCG, or industrial environments
  • Strong working knowledge of SAP procurement modules (MM)
  • Experience sourcing engineering spares, and technical materials
  • Knowledge of contract negotiation, supplier evaluation, and cost analysis
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and stakeholder-management skills
  • Effective communication and cross-functional teamwork abilities
