About the role
Job Description Summary: Role and Major Responsibilities of Position:

Procure engineering spares, consumables, tools, and materials in line with maintenance and operational requirements

Create and manage purchase requisitions, RFQs, purchase orders, and contracts in SAP
-
Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to ensure cost competitiveness, quality, and lead-time compliance

Utilize e-sourcing platforms (e.g., Keelvar) to run competitive bidding events and optimize total cost of ownership
-
Ensure timely availability of critical engineering materials to support maintenance and plant reliability
-
Coordinate with engineering, maintenance, inventory, and finance teams to align demand planning and procurement priorities

Monitor supplier performance (delivery, quality, service levels) and drive continuous improvement

Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, QSE standards, and ethical sourcing requirements

Support cost-reduction, localization, and supplier-rationalization initiatives
Minimum Requirements for Position: (Education, skills, experience, etc.)
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Procurement, Engineering, or a related field
- 3+ years of procurement or buying experience in manufacturing, FMCG, or industrial environments
- Strong working knowledge of SAP procurement modules (MM)
- Experience sourcing engineering spares, and technical materials
- Knowledge of contract negotiation, supplier evaluation, and cost analysis
- Strong analytical, organizational, and stakeholder-management skills
- Effective communication and cross-functional teamwork abilities
