About Cluely

Cluely is building AI to give you an unfair advantage in every situation.

It acts as a desktop assistant that takes in screen, mic, and audio context to give you information and suggestions that existing model providers cannot, due to a lack of context.

We will win for two reasons:

  1. Chatbots are not the best interface for multi-modal AI

  2. We can make anything viral

About the Role:

We work six days a week in-person in San Francisco, 10-12 hours a day.

You are expected to live within a block of the office (housing provided).

The entire codebase is strictly typed (no ts-ignore or anys). We use Bun, Elysia https://elysiajs.com, and strictly typed routes.

You might be a good fit if you are:

  • One of the best engineers in the world

  • Strong fullstack engineer (React/Electron/Infra experience)

  • You should know how to efficiently fetch and cache data in a React application

  • You should know how to design and structure database schemas that optimize read and write performance

  • You should be comfortable deploying and scaling applications and be able to weigh pros and cons of different infra/devops solutions

  • I will sanity check all of the above in an interview with you

  • Down to gamble your life into greatness

Compensation:

  • Founding engineers get anywhere from $250k-$350k base + 0.25-0.5% equity

  • We also offer free food

my cluely prompts after 8 months, for sales, consulting, and vc meetings

get asked about this enough that i'll just post them. these are the three setups i use most and they need tuning for your specific situation but they're a good starting point. sales calls: You are [company name], you do [value prop] for [ICP]. we beat [competitors] because of [specific reasons]. features: [feature + the problem it solves] common objections: [objection] / [response] during the call: when the prospect goes quiet or asks something vague, surface the most relevant use case for thei

Undetectable AI interview assistants: InterviewMan vs Cluely stealth features compared

saw a thread here asking if ai interview tools are actually undetectable or if were all just vibing and hoping nobody looks too hard. ive been on both cluely and interviewman since like october so heres the deal marco my roommate got me into cluely. $20/mo base, seems reasonable right? NOPE. turns out stealth is a separate $75/mo add on that nobody tells you about until youre already signed up. whatever i paid it because i was desperate. you know what seventy five bucks a month buys you? hiding

is Cluely undetectable in Proctored exams ?

For proctored take-home exams via Pearson Vue software, is Clueful undetectable, or will the proctoring software Pearson Vue be able to detect it? I have a certification exam coming up which is a proctored exam, and they use Pearson Vue software.

Built a stealth overlay tool for interviews (inspired by Cluely), would love feedback!

Hey everyone, I’ve been following what Cluely is building and found the whole “assistive layer for interviews” idea really interesting. I decided to experiment with the concept myself and ended up building a lightweight desktop tool that works as a stealth overlay. The idea is simple: it’s an **always-on-top browser** window that lets you quickly access resources during an interview without breaking your normal workflow. It’s designed to stay minimal, fast, and unobtrusive. **So, The simple I
