Citibank, N.A. seeks a Data Integration Group Manager for its Long Island City, New York location.
Duties: Devise methods for identifying data patterns and trends in available information sources. Synthesize current business intelligence or trend data to support recommendations for action. Implement and reinforce strong adherence to Citi data governance policy for wholesale lending. Lead Loan IQ functional requirements implementation for all regions. Provide all finance data and accounting requirements captured in Loan IQ tables. Ensure Loan IQ output performance and posting as expected in downstream ledger and contractual data warehouse. Provide analytical support on data concerns. Complete data analysis to resolve production data qualities exceptions. Remediate any break and data quality exceptions. Liaise with operations, product control, and technology team to ensure proper end to end accounting requirements are met for new products, new line of business, and new software development kit. Build and monitor preventative controls. Monitor and improve unified data architecture process. Update definition in target record layout to perform regulatory and management reporting. Monitor implementation of system enhancements with business and IT partners. Validate and approve testing results for production deployment. Ensure compliance with Bank Policy controls including ledger activities and regulatory control, risk weighted asset, regulatory insight, and liquidity report to prevent audit findings and regulatory actions. Track, monitor, and resolve key issues with implementation of Loan IQ, including Balance and indicative breaks. Present solutions on strategic initiatives for senior management including Unsettle buy and sell, LC unutilized reporting, Tax exempt requirements, and RWA fail settlement reporting. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.
Requirements: Requires a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent, in Economics, Business Administration, Finance or related field and 6 years of experience as Data Management Sr Manager, Financial Accounting Sr Manager, Financial Rep Lead Analyst, Product Control Analyst, Finance Reporting Analyst, Credit Analyst or related position involving data transformation to perform financial regulatory data management and reporting for a global financial institution. Alternatively, will accept a Bachelor’s degree in the stated fields and 8 years of the specified progressive, post-baccalaureate experience. 6 years of experience must include: Use wholesale lending critical data elements including accounting, regulatory reporting, and architecture; Analyze and solution data issues raised by regulatory reporting teams; End-to-end lending architecture controls and exception handling; Technical data reporting and regulatory presentation to management. At least 2 years of experience must include: Loan IQ and Flexcube; Applying finance data and accounting requirements in Loan IQ tables; Data analysis to review data quality production exceptions; Designing and solutioning new controls for Loan IQ implementation for accounting data elements.
