Team/Role Overview

The Fund Accounting ETF Manager will implement and deploy Citi’s European ETF (Exchange Trades Funds) operations function, apply strong knowledge of ETFs, maintain a customer service and operational focus, and deliver an integrated, value-added service to clients. This role will also assist in implementing the target operating model to support ETF funds and will assist the senior manager with client onboarding and ongoing business-as-usual (BAU) service management.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the implementation and deployment of Citi’s European ETF operations function
• Assist in the design and implementation of new ETF business, with a focus on all ETF Services aspects, i.e. review of ETF offering documentation and operating memorandums
• PCF (Portfolio Composition File) preparation, including reviewing the relevant component stocks, quantity, and prices
• ETF creation and redemption order processing for primary market and ETF units’ settlement arrangement and relationship with APs (Authorised Participant)
• Handle AP inquiries related to the ETF creation / redemption orders
• Act as a senior point of contact for customers for ETF Services issues/queries; manage, coach, and develop team members, providing guidance and on-the-job training
• Proactively identify and manage operational risk through leading specific process reviews
• Lead and drive the change plan of initiatives within the operations to incrementally improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the function, setting challenging targets

Qualifications:

• Extensive experience in Fund Accounting/ETF Services including in a management role
• Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
• Excellent command of English
• Expertise in custody, particularly as it relates to ETFs
• Strong understanding of the full ETF lifecycle and knowledge of mutual fund accounting
• Expertise in new ETF listing launches and proficiency in Microsoft office
