Country Ops Lead, is a leadership role responsible for the comprehensive oversight, management, and strategic enhancement of Services operations in Chile location. This role is dedicated to enhancing the efficiency, optimization, and the implementation of strategic initiatives for Chile Services operations; the overall responsibilities are aligned with the cross-functional collaboration with local stakeholders ensuring seamless, cost-effective, healthy control & risk environment, and compliant domestic payment processing unique to the local market. This position is crucial in supporting the Global TTS Operations' financial objectives and customer satisfaction by driving operational excellence within Chile.
Responsibilities:
- Act as local Liaison and serve as the primary liaison between local Services functions, fostering transparency, and ensuring all local stakeholders remain informed and aligned on project goals and the Global strategy. Develop and foster strong partnerships with key stakeholders across cross-functional and regional teams, ensuring consistent collaboration, alignment on objectives, and priorities.
- Lead Strategic Initiatives for Chile and cross-functional initiatives focused on Services within Chile. Drive process transformation initiatives across country operations and functions, ensuring cohesive execution and alignment with Regional and Global objectives and local market needs.
- Ensure Local Compliance & Risk Management**:** Guarantee that all process transformation initiatives adhere to corporate Target Operational Model and local regulatory standards. Embed appropriate risk management controls to safeguard the operations, ensuring strict compliance with local regulations.
- Provide Financial Insights & Strategic Recommendations: Compile, analyze, and interpret financial data from country payments operations as a base for the regional decision-making, highlighting areas for optimization and strategic investment unique to the local market. Manage the productivity pipeline for non-technical projects within payments operations, establishing priorities, setting timelines, and tracking key deliverables to ensure project milestones are met efficiently and effectively
- Prepare detailed business cases for proposed Operational transformations specific to country, utilizing financial modeling to project impacts, costs, and other financial ratios, and present these to Global/Regional Senior Leadership Teams (SLTs).
- Develop high-impact presentations, consolidating payments insights, strategic progress updates, and key performance metrics from country operations to support informed decision-making for the regional and global line of business. Organize and lead workshops that encourage local input, generate innovative solutions, and foster a collaborative approach to process improvements, while also contributing to broader regional initiatives.
- Monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for key strategic initiatives, track progress rigorously, and communicate results regularly to Global/Regional SLTs to demonstrate local impact and benefits.
- Identify opportunities for continuous process improvement specific to Services operations, stay aware of global best practices, and lead efforts to integrate innovative solutions across projects and business functions within country.
Qualifications:
- **Experience:**5+ years in a management role, with significant experience leading strategic initiatives, process re-engineering, or operational transformation projects, preferably with a direct focus on LATAM markets.
- Proven experience in creating and implementing processes that result in improved business performance, risk reduction, and increased efficiency within a local or regional context.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and present detailed business cases, including financial modeling and impact analysis, to senior leadership.
- Skills: Exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and complex problem-solving abilities tailored to the Chilean market.
- Superior verbal, written, and executive communication skills, with proven ability to influence and negotiate with senior stakeholders across diverse functions and geographies.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to compile, interpret, and translate complex financial and operational data from operations into actionable strategic insights.
- Proficiency in Spanish (written and verbal) is essential; English is required for regional/global communication.
- Education: Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
