The Corporate Salesperson is a strategic professional who stays abreast of developments within own field and contributes to directional strategy by considering their application in own job and the business. Recognized technical authority for an area within the business. Requires basic commercial awareness. There are typically multiple people within the business that provide the same level of subject matter expertise. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. Significant impact on the area through complex deliverables. Provides advice and counsel related to the technology or operations of the business. Work impacts an entire area, which eventually affects the overall performance and effectiveness of the sub-function/job family.

Responsibilities:

  • Sell separate account services or finance products directly to Corporate clients
  • Will help team to service clients in the buying and selling of securities, derivatives, FX and commodities
  • Help drive the team's developed strategy across specified product lines
  • Aid to achieve specified goals in both market and wallet share for the identified client franchise
  • Originate and execute meaningful and landmark transactions
  • Will independently and/or jointly work within business product to achieve the strategic growth and market share we are aiming for
  • Partner closely with other key businesses and functions to ensure proper product deployment based on understanding of client
  • Help foster an environment of collaboration through interfacing with appropriate internal partners to enhance share of mind with clients, increase dialogue and to deliver on expertise
  • Understand and analyze clients’ businesses and exposures to provide best suited sales solutions in full coordination with all relevant business partners
  • Work in close partnership with control functions such as Legal, Compliance, Market and Credit Risk, Audit, Finance in order to ensure appropriate governance and control infrastructure
  • Build a culture of responsible finance, good governance and supervision, expense discipline and ethics
  • Appropriately assess risk/reward of transactions when making business decisions; demonstrating proper consideration for the firm’s reputation.
  • Be familiar with and adhere to Citi’s Code of Conduct and the Plan of Supervision for Global Markets and Securities Services
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

  • 6-10 years of experience
  • Previous experience in client-facing roles with proven track record on growing and maintaining relationships through value added service and commercial skills
  • An entrepreneurial approach for business origination and developing new relationships
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills

Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred

Buscamos un(a) FX Salesperson altamente motivado(a) para integrarse a la Mesa de FX dentro del área de Mercados, con un enfoque principal en la originación, asesoría y ejecución de operaciones de FX para clientes del segmento empresarial. Este rol es fundamental para fortalecer el posicionamiento del banco en el mercado cambiario, mediante la construcción de relaciones comerciales sólidas, la identificación de oportunidades estratégicas y la generación de valor para los clientes a través de soluciones cambiarias ágiles, precisas y alineadas a sus necesidades.

El(la) candidato(a) ideal posee un perfil eminentemente comercial, con capacidad demostrada para atraer y desarrollar clientes, gestionar flujos diarios de operación y asesorar en momentos clave del mercado. Esperamos una persona con sólido entendimiento del mercado FX, habilidades analíticas para interpretar condiciones globales, disciplina operativa, altos estándares de gestión de riesgos y cumplimiento, así como la habilidad de trabajar de manera efectiva con áreas internas como trading, riesgo, crédito, onboarding y compliance.

Buscamos a alguien con una mentalidad orientada a resultados, que combine proactividad, pensamiento crítico, integridad profesional, habilidades excepcionales de comunicación y la capacidad de generar confianza con clientes corporativos. Es deseable que cuente con experiencia adicional en la comercialización de coberturas vanillas y estrategias básicas. Responsabilidades principales

  • Gestionar y desarrollar relaciones con clientes corporativos del segmento empresarial.
  • Ofrecer asesoría especializada en productos de FX spot, forwards, derivados y soluciones de cobertura.
  • Identificar oportunidades comerciales y generar nuevo negocio (hunting + farming).
  • Atraer nuevos clientes e, idealmente, aportar cartera proveniente de experiencias previas.
  • Trabajar de manera coordinada con áreas internas (trading, risk management, crédito, onboarding, compliance).
  • Implementar estrategias comerciales alineadas a las necesidades financieras y de riesgo de cada cliente.
  • Monitorear mercados globales y proporcionar información relevante a clientes en tiempo real.
  • Mantener altos estándares de control, cumplimiento regulatorio y gestión de riesgos.
  • Asegurar el seguimiento post-venta y acompañamiento integral al cliente.

🧩 Requisitos

  • Deseable experiencia comprobable en mesas de dinero, FX, derivados, mercados financieros o productos financieros comerciales.
  • Perfil altamente comercial con enfoque en desarrollo de negocio.
  • Fuertes habilidades analíticas y excelente entendimiento de mercados globales.
  • Capacidad para trabajar en equipo, colaborar con múltiples áreas y manejar prioridades en entornos dinámicos.
  • Conocimiento sólido en gestión de riesgos y cumplimiento.
  • Excelentes habilidades de comunicación y negociación.
  • Deseable: Cartera activa o capacidad comprobada para atraer nuevos clientes.
  • Inglés avanzado (deseable).
  • Seguimiento y ejecución de las estrategias acordadas por el negocio
  • Contar de preferencia con la Figura 3 de AMIB
