We are seeking a Linux, Middleware, and Storage Administrator to install, configure, and maintain our critical middleware, storage solutions, and server infrastructure. In this role, you will ensure the stability, performance, and security of the platforms supporting our key business applications. You will collaborate with development, operations, and architecture teams to support deployments, resolve issues, and drive technical excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Must to have 8-12 years of relevant experience
• Server Administration:

Set up, manage, and optimize highly available and secure Linux server environments (both physical and virtual).

• Middleware Management:

Install, patch, upgrade, and configure Ab Initio ETL and Middleware Web Apps using Apache Tomcat.

• Storage Solutions:

Procure, monitor, and manage various storage solutions including NAS, SAN, ScaleIO, and S3.

• Database Collaboration:

Work with DBA teams to manage application databases, including schema creation, space monitoring, and troubleshooting performance issues.

• Software Lifecycle Management:

Manage the application software lifecycle, including version control, release planning, and deployment pipelines.

• Monitoring and Observability:

Implement and manage advanced monitoring for servers, databases, and applications using tools like App Dynamics to ensure performance and availability.

• Troubleshooting:

Lead complex troubleshooting efforts to perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement permanent solutions for critical infrastructure incidents.

• Disaster Recovery:

Design, implement, and test application-level disaster recovery plans to meet business continuity objectives (RTO/RPO).

• Security & Compliance:

Track and resolve security vulnerabilities (CVMPs, CVEs) and configuration issues (GEMS) in partnership with application and support teams.

• Access Management:

Implement and manage secure access to storage and servers using Active Directory (AD) & LDAP groups.

• Secure File Transfer:

Configure and maintain secure file transfer solutions using SFTP and NDM (Connect:Direct).

• Process Management:

Adhere to ITIL processes for incident, problem, and change management using Service Now.

Required Skills & Experience Technical Skills:

• Operating Systems:

Strong proficiency in Linux administration (Red Hat, CentOS, or similar).

• Middleware:

Hands-on experience with Apache Tomcat, IBM Web Sphere, or other relevant middleware technologies.

• Storage:

In-depth knowledge of NAS, SAN, ScaleIO, and S3-based object storage.

• Virtualization:

Experience with VMware or other server virtualization platforms.

• Databases:

Foundational knowledge of Oracle databases and SQL.

• Monitoring:

Expertise in using enterprise monitoring tools like App Dynamics.

• Scripting & Automation:

Basic understanding in shell scripting .

• Security:

Familiarity with vulnerability management, server hardening, and Active Directory.

• ITSM:

Experience with Service Now for incident and change management.

• File Transfer:

Knowledge of SFTP and NDM (Connect:Direct) protocols.

• ETL Tools:

Development or Administration experience with Abinitio ETL and Web Applications would be a plus.

• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• A proactive and detail-oriented approach to tasks.
• Ability to mentor and guide junior colleagues.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
