The Business Manager is responsible for accomplishing results in support of the Technology Optimization & Risk Reduction (FIT) team. The team drives the overall execution of FIT and OMAI including Workforce and Software strategies across Technology. The Business Manager coordinates and manages activities such as the tracking of business financials, employee headcount and other administrative needs as necessary. Manages ad hoc projects as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Business Execution and Finance teams to ensure alignment of business goals
  • Assist leadership and stakeholders with developing projects, determining strategies, and defining/providing metrics
  • Advance control framework including Risk Assessment of Expense Initiatives.
  • Prepare materials and follow-up as needed on items for business committees and/ or regular business meetings
  • Drive implementation of business-driven projects across functions, working closely with relevant senior leadership
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in financial services
  • Demonstrated expertise of Microsoft Office product suite; basic macro coding experience and proficiency in Microsoft Access and PowerPoint preferred
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree/University degree or equivalent experience
