Partner with core-Business Groups and Support functions (e.g. Premises, IT, Gen Admin, HR, Compliance) on outlining Site wide business strategy and execution around the following:
Resource and Location Strategy:
Partner with the senior business unit managers at the Site and global strategy teams to periodically assess functional growth requirements from both headcount and functional depth standpoints.
Ensure the above forecast is reconciled with the global forecast for the location and any major gaps identified for correction.
Partner with business unit managers and HR to ensure appropriate Organization Design elements are adhered to around span of control, reporting adjacency, stovepipes etc.
Talent Lifecycle Management:
Partner with HR / cross support groups to promote internal mobility, smooth onboarding experience, drive campus strategy, foster the culture of diversity, equity and inclusion.
Monitor internal and external trends around workforce churn and suggest proactive strategies to avoid any regrettable attrition.
Partner with HR to enhance the employee value proposition, through appropriate policies and practices.
Employee Engagement:
Identify and execute on effective action plan on the opportunities identified through the annual Voice of Employee feedback survey.
Mobilize employees to support Citi’s sustainability mission, partner and ensure cross-BU participation in various employee engagement events and initiatives.
Community Engagement:
Optimize Community Engagement investment to drive highest impact to fewer organizations, in line with Citi Foundation goals and local CSC needs.
Develop stronger and sustainable relationship with local universities and community to position Citi as an “Employer of choice”.
Reinforce Citi brand in locations where CSC is the primary on-the-ground Citi presence.
Promote Innovation:
Create a culture of grassroots, employee-driven innovation. In matured business functions, further advance the innovation culture by selecting and solving common business problems through mobilizing staff in a creative and engaging fashion.
Actively share and increase adoption of Innovation best practices across CSCs
Risk and Controls Oversight:
Provide oversight to the Risk & Controls framework at the site to ensure compliance with the Firm’s policies and procedures, offshoring and regulatory compliance, business resiliency, vendor strategy and information security controls.
Identify potential control gaps in various processes and suggest appropriate mitigation strategies.
Infrastructure Demand / Supply Management:
Partner with cross-functional groups to periodically track, report and manage various aspects of IT and non-IT infrastructure elements (including seating inventory and utilization, computing equipment supply to support ongoing growth, facilities at the premises and evolving needs).
Partner with cross-support functions to track utilization of Infrastructure facilities and suggest forward looking strategies to enhance adoption and workforce productivity.
Corporate Communications Oversight:
Provide location oversight and mentoring to the Site Communications lead to ensure timely, crisp and impactful Organizational communications.
Partner with various business groups at the Site, to prepare for and deliver high quality content for the senior management visits.
Own and drive various Site level management meetings including identification of appropriate agenda, content and delivery.
Core competencies and skills:
8-12 years of proven track record of successful business strategy development and execution.
Ability to visualize, develop and communicate key management decisions and messages to senior stakeholders locally and across the region.
Strong problem-solving skills with ability to be agile while delivering as per the set objectives.
Good understanding of operations risk management, information security controls and corporate governance.
Understanding of corporate expense management process – including GL analysis, budgeting, forecasting and risk & opportunity identification.
Good understanding of relevant industry trends around business transformation, human capital evolution, emerging threats landscape, key challenges and themes.
Strong business modeling and analysis skills using MS Excel / Power BI.
Strong project management skills – PMP / PSM / SAFe agile certifications will be an added advantage.
